On Monday I circled this story from my devotional reading in The Word for You Today. It concerns prayer and our releasing our struggles to God. As we struggle with relationships, finances, health, children, career, let us ask if we have totally released the issue to God. When we do we will have peace...
Also a verse of the day and leadership thought of the day, etc.

*Please turn up your volume for this recording. We apologize for any difficulty.* On July 20, New Highland recognized Rev. Bob Lee for his tenth anniversary as its pastor. MFUGE Testimony from Zack
This week I stepped out of my comfort zone by talking to two kids in a local park about their faith in Christ and their relationships with him. I had never done that before, so for me it was a milestone. Both of the children had already accepted Christ as their personal Savior, but to me it was an encouragement and I feel more confident in my witnessing.

MFUGE Testimony from Cody
This week was fun and amazing, but it was also life changing and eye opening. Most of the places we went were in rough parts of Philly and made me think about how lucky and selfish I am. But this week was also about going out of your comfort zone. In my track group (social ministries), this happened every day. One such place was called Don Guenella, a home for mentally challenged boys. It's an amazing place!
MFUGE Testimony from Liz
During MFUGE it is not really out of my comfort zone to talk to others and serve them, but this week I realized that it was out of my comfort zone to admit to myself that I often take what I have for granted. Seeing the living conditions of the Philly people and hearing stories of their harsh and often sad lives made me look at my life in a different way.
