Dr. Fred Anderson is the Executive Director of the Virginia Baptist Historical Society (VBHS) which is located on the campus of the University of Richmond. The VBHS helps to provide education and stewardship of the rich heritage of the Baptist General Association of Virginia. On Sunday June 29, Dr.
Frontline led worship on Sunday July 6 and sang this version of "Seize the Day" before pastor Bob's sermon. May God give you the power and wisdom to seize every moment of every day for his purposes! Blessings, Pastor Bob
Facing Decisions in Life: What decisions are you facing right now? Will they become defining moments? Will you trust God or reject God? In Numbers 13-14 we see that Caleb and Joshua were faithful to God and trusted God wholeheartedly while the rest of the Israelite spies and the masses chose to do their own thing.

*Please turn up your volume for this recording. We apologize for any difficulty.* On July 20, New Highland recognized Rev. Bob Lee for his tenth anniversary as its pastor. The day was filled with celebration, reflection, and vision for the future. There was a wonderful banquet for the entire church after the service. The guest speakers were the Rev. Dr. Steve Allsbrook, Director of Missions for the Dover Baptist Association and the Rev. Peter James Flamming, Retired Pastor of First Baptist Church, Richmond.
During the latter part of the sermon, we showed a video clip of Derek Redmond in the 1992 Summer Olympic Games in Barcelona. Derek sustained a race-ending injury and his father, who was in the stands, made his way onto the track, embraced his son, and helped him cross the finish line. Rick Weinberg with ESPN.com states
