Psalm 104:1 tells us that God is very great. The Hebrew word for “great” has to do with strength. The word implies three strands of twine woven together. Alone they are weak, but together they are strong. Ecclesiastes 4:12 says, “…a cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” Perhaps we can use this to help us see the greatness of the Triune God in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We worship a GREAT GOD who is in the business of going great things. God, in all God’s greatness, created all things; God cares for the creation and its creatures; and God provides for them. Images of food and water come to mind as we reflect on God as our Provider – the Bread of Life and the Living Water. We have all we need both physically and spiritually. Grace and peace to you, Pastor Bob Lee
