Sermon: "Choices" Numbers 13-14 July 6, 2008 by Rev. Robert Lee

Facing Decisions in Life:  What decisions are you facing right now?  Will they become defining moments?  Will you trust God or reject God?  In Numbers 13-14 we see that Caleb and Joshua were faithful to God and trusted God wholeheartedly while the rest of the Israelite spies and the masses chose to do their own thing.

Like Caleb and Joshua, you can choose to Seize Your Divine Moment.  When you do, you trust God to make good choices.

Or like the other spies and the masses, you can choose to stay where you are.  When you do, you reject God with poor choices.

Jesus said, "Enter through the narrow gate.  For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.  But small is the gate and narrow is the road that leads to life, and only a few find it" (Matthew 7:13-14, NIV).

I hope that you find encouragement and strength in the Lord as you trust him in your daily decisions.  Grace and peace, Pastor Bob Lee
