“Initiative” – Matthew 14:22-33
Part Two of Series: “Seizing Your Divine Moment”
by Rev. Robert Lee

In God’s Economy There Are Two Types of Initiative:

1.     Divine Initiative:

·        Jesus comes to the PLACE of trouble.
·        There is a TEST of a believer’s faith.
·        We have the freedom to FAIL.
·        GRACE abounds.

2.     Human Initiative:

·        A faithful RESPONSE to God’s initiative.
·        We receive COURAGE from our faith relationship.
·        Acts in OBEDIENCE even in times of doubt.
·        The ultimate end is WORSHIP
