Sermon: "Advance" Judges 6-7 August 17, 2008 by Rev. Robert Lee

During the latter part of the sermon, we showed a video clip of Derek Redmond in the 1992 Summer Olympic Games in Barcelona.  Derek sustained a race-ending injury and his father, who was in the stands, made his way onto the track, embraced his son, and helped him cross the finish line.    Rick Weinberg with ESPN.com states, "When Derek ran, it was as if his father were running right next to him."  As Christians, we can claim this about God our Heavenly Father! -- Pastor Bob
