I have begun training for the Half Marathon in Richmnond this November...
Each morning I arise at 5:00 and set out on my run. On Tuesday 9/2 I was running down a street in my neighborhood that is lined by trees on both sides. There are very little lights to inhibit the view of the night sky so I was just looking up at God's beautiful creation. All the sudden I saw a shooting star, or meteorite! I thought of how God told Abram of how his descendants would be far greater than the number of stars in the heavens (Genesis 15:4-6). I found this slide on heartlight.org which captures the majesty of God's handiwork. I am glad that I was looking up that morning to see this sight! I pray for the desire to see God at work in all things. Sometimes God just surprises us with a shooting star! Grace and peace, Pastor Bob
