"See You at the Pole" Prayer Rally

Today students all around the nation gathered at their school flag poles to pray.  This morning, over 50 students gathered for prayer at Chickahominy Middle School for "See You at the Pole."    One of our students, Caroline L., led this movement, for up until today, Chickahominy students joined the Atlee High School students for this gathering on Atlee's campus.  Caroline felt led by God to have one on the Chickahominy campus and as you can see, it was a great success!  (Click Read More for the rest of the entry)

Caroline led the students in corporate prayer and worship music.  Then everyone gathered in small groups and prayed together.  Before they went to their classes, they gathered in a large circle and offered their prayers of thanksgiving and intercessory prayers for others.

There were at least 8 students from New Highland who attended this prayer rally!  We are very proud of our students who are taking leadership roles on their campuses.  Pastor Derek helped some of our students at Oak Knoll Middle School this morning at their rally.  We give God the glory!

Grace and peace to you, Pastor Bob Lee

God is surely at work in our students!

Amen!  God is really at work in our students.  When you think about the guts it takes to stand up for Jesus -- they are setting a great example for us adults!  Blessings --The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you always, Pastor Bob
