We celebrated our Ten Year Anniversary as New Highland Baptist Church on Sept. 28th!  (Click "Read More") We had a great day of worship and celebration. 

During this sermon, I used a video clip from the movie Arctic Tale.  In chapter ten there is a scene that shows Murre chicks in danger as a fox approaches.  The chicks are on the side of a steep cliff with nowhere to go.  The Murre fathers then push their chicks off (leap of faith) to avoid the predator.  The chicks cannot yet fly.  The fathers jump with their chicks and see them all the way down.  This clip reminds us of our loving Heavenly Father who is right beside us when we take leaps of faith.  He will never abandon us for forsake us.  He is with us everywhere we go.
