My wife Cheryl and I were made aware of a life threatening situation this week (Nov 13, 2008) involving a newborn great-granddaughter of some friends of ours. Her name is Addison Marie Stenners (not sure if last name is spelled correctly) and she was born with her esophagus and trachea fused together, making it difficult for her to breathe. She was air lifted to Children’s Hospital in Ohio where emergency surgery was performed. Addison coded during surgery and had to be resuscitated. She is now on life support and fighting for her life. She needs to be lifted up to our Lord in a mighty way. She and her parents live here in the Richmond area.
Please lift her up in prayer, that God will bless her and her family and direct the doctors and nurses attending to her. I pray that He would perform a miracle in the life of this precious baby that will bring her family closer to Him. As her great-grandparents share updates on her condition with us I will post them here.
In Christ's love,
David McGhee
