The weekend of April 18-20 thirteen men from our church and community went down to Pinehurst, NC for a men's golf retreat.  This was our second annual trip.  We had a great time of fellowship, sharing, and golfing!

On Friday night, Tim Gunn led our devotional and drew the parallel of the game of golf to the Christian life.  One of the verses that Tim shared really stuck with me -- Hebrews 10:35 "So do not throw away your confidence..." (NIV).  This reminds us that no matter what the situation or challenge, God is always with us!  This verse helps us to be bold, to have faith, and to speak with assurance about the divine power, presence, and promises of God. 

So as you head into this new week, whether at home, work, or school, be confident that God loves you (John 3:16) and God is with you everywhere you go (Matthew 28:20).   Blessings, Pastor Bob
