List of Prayer Requests

Scott Towne Update

Deputy Towne will probably be moved today to Kernan Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation. The facility is located less than 10 miles from his current location. Scott and Kim were hopeful that he would be able to come to MCV but they don't have any beds available. On a positive note, Kernan is the largest provider of inpatient rehabilitation care in the state of Maryland and Scott will be receiving excellent care. Scott will probably be at Kernan for about 10 days. Then he should be able to come home and continue his rehabilitation on an outpatient basis.

Prayer Need for Scott Towne

Prayer is needed for a Hanover Deputy who was severely injured on Sunday 11-23-08 in a motorcycle accident. His name is Scott Towne and his accident occurred up in Maryland. He has 6-7 fractured ribs, punctured lungs and a spinal cord injury. Preliminary prognosis from the attending physician is that he has a 1% chance of walking again. He is currently in a Maryland hospital but plans are to transfer him to MCV when he’s able to be moved. He has a wife named Kim and a little girl who’s 2. Please lift Scott and his family up to our Lord and pray for healing and comfort to this family.

Newborn Addison Marie Stenners Update

It gives me great joy to share some wonderful praise news about Addison. Cheryl and I spoke with the great-grandparents last night about how Addison was doing and they said she is doing great! In fact she has been transferred back to Virginia and is now at the Children's Hospital in Norfolk. Addison also took a bottle for the first time but still gets feeding through a tube. The great-grandparents are going down to see Addison and her parents and promised to bring back more praise news!
