Jeremiah speaks words of condemnation to the ungodly and disobedient rulers and leaders of Judah. Perhaps these words echo 22:8 “they have forsaken the covenant of the Lord their God and have worshiped and served other gods.” God would bring severe punishment in the form of Babylonian Captivity. And Jerusalem was not exempt.   Click to read more »
