The weekend of April 18-20 thirteen men from our church and community went down to Pinehurst, NC for a men's golf retreat.  This was our second annual trip.  We had a great time of fellowship, sharing, and golfing!

Starting April 15, I am writing daily reflections on scripture as part of my upcoming DMin class in June.  I hope that you find them helpful in your daily walk with God.  Here's the first entry on Hebrews 13:20-21.  Enjoy! 

The Bible says, "Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith...."  Let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus today not just as the "finish line" but as our example for the race of life. 
This Saturday I'll join 31,000 others in the Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10-K race.  I want to finish well!  To finish the race of life well, let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus as we run!
