"See You at the Pole" Prayer Rally

Today students all around the nation gathered at their school flag poles to pray.  This morning, over 50 students gathered for prayer at Chickahominy Middle School for "See You at the Pole."    One of our students, Caroline L., led this movement, for up until today, Chickahominy students joined the Atlee High School students for this gathering on Atlee's campus.  Caroline felt led by God to have one on the Chickahominy campus and as you can see, it was a great success!  (Click Read More for the rest of the entry)

Prayers for Roanoke Mission Team

Our Roanoke team departed on Sunday afternoon and will be in Roanoke all week serving through the Baptist Community Center in the city.  This is the same place that we went last summer.  We have sixteen people on this trip.  The team will be leading Vacation Bible School for the children at the center; evangelism and service projects on some homes in the area.  Please pray for the safety of the team, encouragement, strength, and a willingness to share about Jesus' love.

Pray for NHBC Students this week at MFUGE

Our students, volunteers, and Pastor Derek and I will be traveling to Philadelphia today for a week at youth camp.  It's MFUGE and will be a great week for our students!  We hope to keep you updated through this blog this week.  We will be returning on Saturday the 26th.  So please uplift our coming and going and serving.  Pray for safety for all.  Pray for lives to be transformed, in the students, volunteers, and those whom we encounter.  May we be the hands and feet of Jesus.
